The Motor Neurone Disease Association of South Australia (MNDSA) provides a range of information, advice, practical assistance, and personal support services to the person with Motor Neurone Disease, their carers, family, friends, and Health Professionals.

To refer or register for MNDSA’s services, please complete a referral or contact us for information about how to register for support, care, and equipment.

MNDSA offers:

  • Equipment and Assistive Technology
  • Support Coordination
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Allied Health Assistance
  • Information and Resources
  • Education and Training
  • Group Programs
  • Volunteering Opportunities
  • Assistance to access NDIS and My Aged Care

Services are offered on the basis that people with MND decide their preferred level of involvement, for example, initially wanting only to receive resources or information or the MND News. Alternatively, they might find it useful to meet with an MND team member, who can visit at home, provide information or organise access to equipment.

MNDSA is a registered provider of supports under the National Disability Insurance Scheme [NDIS]. Through the MNDSA Support Coordination service, people with MND and their family are supported as they prepare to enter the NDIS, and if so desired, through the planning process and beyond. Participants of the Scheme may nominate MNDSA as their provider for Support Coordination, Occupational Therapy, Allied Health Assistance, and the rental of assistive technology (disability aids and equipment) if these supports are funded in their NDIS plan.

To refer or register for MNDSA’s services, please complete either a referral or registration form or contact MNDSA on 08 8234 8448.
